July means something special here in San Diego.

While much of the country celebrates Pride Month in June, our city comes alive in July—a reminder that every community has its own traditions, its own story, and its own way of celebrating.

For me, Pride has always felt connected to something much simpler than a parade.

It starts around the table.

Hospitality Begins With Inclusivity

One of the first lessons I learned as a chef had very little to do with cooking. The ingredients and how you prepare them are important. But what people remember most is how they felt.

Did they feel welcomed? Did they feel comfortable enough to be themselves? Did they feel like they belonged?

That's the kind of hospitality we strive to create at every event. Whether we're catering an intimate dinner for ten, a wedding overlooking the Pacific, or a weekend retreat in the mountains, every guest deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and genuinely cared for.

Why We Love Celebrating Pride in San Diego

One of the reasons I feel so fortunate to serve events throughout Southern California is because of the incredible diversity that defines this region. From San Diego to Los Angeles and everywhere in between, we've had the privilege of celebrating weddings, private gatherings, retreats, and milestone events for people from countless backgrounds, cultures, and communities.

San Diego's LGBTQ+ community has long been an important part of what makes this city so vibrant, creative, and welcoming. Every July, San Diego Pride serves as a beautiful reminder that love, authenticity, and human connection deserve to be celebrated—not just during Pride, but every day.

As an inclusive hospitality partner, we've always believed every couple deserves a wedding day that reflects who they are and the people they love.
